Kazakhstan IGF Hosts First Meeting
November 28, 2023The national IGF of Kazakhstan successfully launched its very first annual meeting. Over 150 participants discussed various issues related to public digital policy.
18th BIGF from 23 to 25 November 2023 under the theme of The Internet We Want: Empowering All People in Bangladesh. The event will be held at the BTRC Bhaban, Agargaon Administrative Area, Dhaka and is jointly organized by the BIGF and BTRC.

BIGF is the National Internet Governance Forum for Bangladesh. Internet Governance Forum (IGF) is an initiative led by the United Nations for the discussion of public policy issues relating to the Internet. A key distinguishing feature of IGF is that they are based on the multi-stakeholder model – all sectors of society meet as equals to exchange ideas and discuss best practices.

At the IGF 2023 in Kyoto IS3C’s Working Group Security by Design – Internet of Things published its report, ‘Saving the World from an Insecure Internet of Things’.
At the opening of the event, welcoming speeches were made by the Deputy Head of the Operational Analytical Center under the President of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Zhernosek
There still is unfinished task in present 3rd revolution of ICT to fill the gaps. 57% of the 7.5 billion population of the world are still Offline because of unavailable internet in poverty-stricken and rural parts
